After the H1N1 virus, humanity has to protect itself from the victims who are now thirsty for blood.

Santiago Infected is a 2D action game, in the Beat'em Up style, built using a B.O.R. motor, and created as an homage to the first fight games you had fun with when you were a child.

In Santiago Infected everything starts when the H1N1 virus mutates, and propagates across the world, leaving millions dead. Luckily, in the year 2011 the truth is discovered, as it was a grave error by a laboratory which was working on dangerous infectious diseases. But what no one until now has suspected, and which starts in 2012, is that there is an important development: all the people who died from the virus now come to life, becoming bloodsuckers.

Now, as there are just a few people left not contaminated with the H1N1 virus, they have to fight also against these creatures. You play the part of one of two police investigators doing everything possible to delete this plague of blood-thirsty beings. Survival of the human race now depends on you.
